Savory Chicken Delight
A timeless dish featuring tender chicken pieces coated in a creamy sauce with mushrooms and peppers, perfect for an elegant dinner.

Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb chicken breasts, cubed
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. In a large pan, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add chicken cubes and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, sauté onions, green peppers, and mushrooms until soft.
4. Stir in flour, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
5. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and sherry, bringing to a simmer.
6. Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and paprika, stirring continuously.
7. Return chicken to the pan, simmer for 15 minutes until cooked through.
8. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Storage
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a skillet over low heat or gently in the microwave until warmed through.
