Savory Beef and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups crushed cornflakes
1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 medium onion, diced
1 cup frozen peas
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned and fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; mix well.
5. Remove the skillet from heat, and fold in the sour cream, frozen peas, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until combined.
6. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
7. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crushed cornflakes to create a crunchy topping.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
9. Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, microwave individual portions for 1-2 minutes.
