Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 cup fish stock
1 cup clam juice
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 pound mussels, scrubbed and debearded
1 pound clams, scrubbed
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 pound firm white fish fillets, cut into chunks
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes, sauté until onion is translucent.
3. Stir in bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes.
4. Pour in crushed tomatoes, fish stock, clam juice, and white wine. Bring to a simmer.
5. Add mussels and clams, cover and cook until they open, about 5 minutes.
6. Add shrimp and fish pieces, simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
7. Stir in fresh parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve hot with crusty bread.

Storage

Store leftover stew in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat until hot, stirring occasionally.
