Salmon Patties
These Salmon Patties are a delightful reinvention of a classic seafood dish, offering a savory bite with every piece. Ingredients
1 lb fresh salmon, skinned and deboned
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Flake the salmon into a large bowl.
3. Add breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper.
4. Stir in beaten eggs to bind the mixture.
5. Form the mixture into 8 patties.
6. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
7. Fry patties until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
8. Transfer the patties to a baking sheet and finish in the oven for 10 minutes.
Storage
Store cooked patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
