Rustic Pecan Bar Delight

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups pecans, coarsely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, powdered sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
3. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
5. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
6. In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until well combined.
7. Stir in the pecans.
8. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
9. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and golden brown.
10. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
Storage
Store pecan bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, microwave individual bars on medium power for 15-20 seconds or warm them in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5-10 minutes.
