Rustic Herb Infused Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup whole milk
2 tbsp sugar
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, warm the milk to around 110°F and dissolve the sugar and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the melted butter, yeast mixture, and chopped herbs.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
5. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
6. Shape each piece into a ball and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush the rolls with the beaten egg for a glossy finish and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
8. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Preheat oven to 300°F and warm rolls for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
