Rustic Garlic Bread

Ingredients
1 loaf of crusty Italian bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cut the Italian bread loaf in half lengthwise.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper.
4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese generously over the buttered bread halves.
6. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, buttered side up.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the edges are crispy.
8. Remove from oven, let it cool slightly, then cut into slices and serve warm.
Storage
Store leftover garlic bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
Reheating
To reheat, wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-10 minutes or until warm.
