Radish and Cucumber Tea Sandwiches

These delightful Radish and Cucumber Tea Sandwiches are perfect for a springtime gathering, combining the refreshing crunch of cucumbers and radishes with the creamy richness of cream cheese.

Ingredients

8 slices white bread
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
4 radishes, thinly sliced

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, dill, chives, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each slice of bread.
3. Arrange the cucumber slices on half of the bread slices, slightly overlapping them.
4. On the other half of the bread, arrange the radish slices in a similar manner.
5. Press the cucumber slice bread and radish slice bread together to form a sandwich.
6. Trim the crusts off the sandwiches and cut each sandwich into quarters, forming small triangles or squares.
7. Serve immediately or store as instructed.

Storage

Store the sandwiches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Reheating

These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh; do not reheat.
