Pineapple Basil Mojito

Ingredients
2 oz white rum
0.5 oz simple syrup
2 oz pineapple juice
6 fresh basil leaves
0.5 lime, cut into wedges
2 oz club soda
Ice
Pineapple wedge and basil sprig for garnish
Instructions
1. In a shaker, muddle the basil leaves and lime wedges to release the flavors.
2. Add the white rum, simple syrup, and pineapple juice to the shaker.
3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
5. Top with club soda and stir gently to combine.
6. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and basil sprig before serving.
Storage
Store any leftover components separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
