Peach Lavender Cobbler

Ingredients

3 lbs fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp dried culinary lavender
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
2. In a large bowl, combine the peaches, granulated sugar, and lavender, then set aside to let the flavors meld
3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt
4. Stir in the melted butter and milk until a batter forms
5. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish
6. Spoon the peach mixture over the batter, spreading evenly
7. Sprinkle the brown sugar on top for a caramelized finish
8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and the peaches are bubbling
9. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or until warmed through.
