Ingredients
2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
10 fresh basil leaves
1 tbsp honey
1 oz peach liqueur
1 bottle chilled prosecco
Ice cubes
Peach slices and basil sprigs for garnish
Instructions
1. In a blender, combine the peach slices, basil leaves, and honey. Blend until smooth.
2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove solids.
3. Stir in the peach liqueur.
4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the peach basil mixture over the ice until each glass is about half full.
5. Top off each glass with chilled prosecco.
6. Gently stir to combine and garnish with a peach slice and basil sprig.
Storage
This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store the peach basil mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days without the prosecco.
Reheating
