Old-Fashioned Salmon Patties

Ingredients

1 lb canned salmon, drained and flaked
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, bread crumbs, onion, and parsley.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
3. Pour the egg mixture over the salmon mixture and mix until well combined.
4. Shape the mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
6. Fry the patties in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
7. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Storage
