Old-Fashioned Ham and Noodle Bake

A delightful and comforting dish perfect for using up leftover ham, combining tender noodles with rich cream sauce and baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

2 cups cooked ham, diced
12 oz egg noodles
2 cups cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
3. In a large bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
4. Stir in diced ham, cooked noodles, cheddar cheese, peas, black pepper, and garlic powder.
5. Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
6. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and melted butter.
7. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over the top of the noodle mixture.
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
9. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
