Ingredients
1 lb fresh crab meat
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg, beaten
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, gently combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, breadcrumbs, egg, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
2. Shape the mixture into 8 evenly-sized patties, ensuring they hold together firmly.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Add the crab cakes in batches, frying until golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
6. Serve warm with a wedge of lemon or your favorite dipping sauce.
Storage
Store leftover crab cakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place crab cakes on a baking sheet and warm in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
