Ingredients
12 oz dark chocolate chips
12 oz white chocolate chips
1 tsp peppermint extract
1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
3. Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it to an even layer.
4. Chill the chocolate in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes until firm.
5. Melt the white chocolate chips in a similar manner, stirring until smooth, then add the peppermint extract.
6. Pour the white chocolate over the chilled dark chocolate, spreading evenly.
7. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the top and press lightly.
8. Refrigerate until completely set, approximately 30 minutes.
9. Break into pieces and serve.
