Mediterranean Herb Infused Hard Boiled Eggs

Ingredients

6 large eggs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Water for boiling

Instructions

1. Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water by at least an inch.
2. Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
3. Once boiling, turn off the heat and cover the saucepan.
4. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 9-12 minutes, depending on your desired level of doneness.
5. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix olive oil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
6. Once eggs are done, immediately transfer them to an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes.
7. Peel the eggs and gently coat them with the herb-infused olive oil mixture before serving.

Storage

Store unpeeled eggs in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Reheating

Reheat by placing peeled eggs in warm water for 2-3 minutes.
