Ingredients
6 cups brioche bread, cubed
1 cup pecan halves
3 large eggs
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
Butter for greasing
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter.
3. Spread the cubed brioche bread evenly across the dish.
4. Sprinkle pecan halves over the bread.
5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
6. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and pecans, pressing down gently to ensure the bread is soaked.
7. Let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes to absorb the custard.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat individual portions in the microwave for 1-2 minutes on medium power, or until warmed through.
