Maple Pecan Apple Crisp

Ingredients
6 cups of peeled and sliced apples
1 cup of old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of maple syrup
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg, and 1/4 tsp of salt.
3. Transfer the apple mixture to a greased 9x9-inch baking dish.
4. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, pecans, and remaining cinnamon.
5. Stir in melted butter and maple syrup until the mixture becomes crumbly.
6. Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over the apples.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Storage
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in the oven at 300°F for 10-15 minutes or until warmed through. Alternatively, microwave individual servings for 30-60 seconds.
