Ingredients

2 lbs fresh salmon fillet
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 cedar plank, soaked in water for 1 hour

Instructions

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
3. Place the cedar plank on the grill and heat until it starts to crackle and smoke slightly, about 5 minutes.
4. Place the salmon fillet skin-side down on the plank and brush generously with the maple glaze.
5. Grill with the lid closed for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
6. Remove from the grill carefully, and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat leftovers in a preheated oven at 300°F for 10-15 minutes, or until the salmon is warmed through.
