Ingredients

12 large sea scallops
12 strips thick-cut bacon
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
2: In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, soy sauce, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
