Maple Chipotle Baked Beans
A delightful twist on the classic baked beans recipe, infusing sweet maple syrup with spicy chipotle for a smoky-sweet flavor. Perfect for cookouts and family dinners.

Ingredients
4 slices of bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups canned navy beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp chipotle in adobo sauce, minced
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add bacon and cook until crispy.
3. Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet, sauté until the onion is translucent.
4. Stir in navy beans, maple syrup, ketchup, chipotle, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
5. Bring to a simmer, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
6. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sauce is thickened.
7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through, or microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway.
