Ingredients

1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the maple syrup, bourbon whiskey, and brown sugar.
2. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves.
3. Stir in the Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and black pepper.
4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
6. Brush the glaze over the ham every 30 minutes during roasting for a perfectly glazed finish.

Storage

Store any remaining glaze in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
