Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/4 cup bourbon whiskey
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the bourbon whiskey, maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, and ground ginger.
2. Mix thoroughly to create the marinade.
3. Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the chicken.
4. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken, ensuring it is well-coated.
5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
7. Arrange the marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over them.
8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly and caramelized.
9. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
