Mango Tango Guacamole

Ingredients

2 ripe avocados
1 ripe mango
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions

1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
2. Peel and dice the mango, and add it to the bowl with the avocados.
3. Add the diced red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, black pepper, chopped jalapeño, and minced garlic to the bowl.
4. Use a fork or potato masher to gently mash and mix the ingredients until well combined but still chunky.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
6. Serve immediately or store as directed.

Storage

Store the guacamole in an airtight container with a layer of plastic wrap directly on the surface to prevent browning. Refrigerate for up to 2 days.

Reheating

Guacamole is best served fresh; reheating is not recommended.
