Ingredients

2 cups fresh blueberries

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a medium bowl, combine blueberries, lemon zest, lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Toss to coat the blueberries evenly.
3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
6. Evenly distribute the blueberry mixture over the batter.
7. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top for a caramelized finish.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbly.
