Lavender Lemonade

Enjoy a refreshing twist on a classic with our Lavender Lemonade. Infused with floral notes and zesty lemon, it is perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
4 cups cold water
1 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 4-6 lemons)
Ice cubes
Lemon slices for garnish
Lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved to make a simple syrup.
2. Stir in 2 tablespoons of dried lavender and bring to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat and let it steep for about 15 minutes.
3. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the lavender. Allow it to cool completely.
4. In a large pitcher, combine the lavender-infused syrup, 4 cups of cold water, and 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
5. Stir well and add ice cubes to the pitcher.
6. Serve in glasses garnished with lemon slices and lavender sprigs.

Storage

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Best served chilled, do not reheat.
