Lavender Infused Whipped Cream

A delightful twist on classic whipped cream, infused with aromatic lavender to enhance desserts with a floral and creamy touch.

Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp dried lavender
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, combine heavy cream and dried lavender.
2. Heat over low flame until cream is warm and fragrant, then remove from heat.
3. Allow the lavender to steep in the cream for 30 minutes.
4. Strain the cream to remove lavender pieces.
5. Chill the infused cream in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
6. Once chilled, combine infused cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
7. Whip using a hand mixer until soft peaks form.
8. Serve immediately or store as instructed.

Storage

Store whipped cream in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

No reheating required, serve cold.
