Ingredients

4 cups fresh blueberries
1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

1. Rinse and drain the blueberries thoroughly.
2. In a large pot, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat.
3. Stir frequently until the sugar dissolves and the blueberries release their juices.
4. Add the dried lavender and bring the mixture to a boil.
5. Reduce the heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until thickened.
6. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
7. Let it cool slightly, then transfer to sterilized jars and seal tightly.

Storage

Store the jam in a cool, dark place for up to one year. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 3 weeks.

Reheating

Remove the desired amount of jam and microwave in a microwave-safe dish for 10-15 seconds or until warm.
