Homestyle Ground Turkey Bake

Ingredients

2 lbs ground turkey
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 cup frozen peas
2 cups cooked egg noodles
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried thyme
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
3. Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper; sauté until the vegetables are tender.
4. Stir in peas, cooked egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and thyme.
5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese evenly.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Storage

Store the casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat individual servings in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes.
