Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
8 oz spaghetti
24 oz marinara sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
4. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
5. Stir in the marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper; let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
6. In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, then half of the meat sauce, and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
7. Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, meat sauce, and cheeses.
8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes, or until warmed through.
