Homemade Lemonade

Enjoy a classic, refreshing beverage perfect for any summer outing with this homemade lemonade. Made with freshly squeezed lemons, sugar, and water, it is the ultimate thirst quencher on a hot day.

Ingredients

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons)
1 cup granulated sugar
4 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Lemon slices for garnish
Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

1. In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar.
2. Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3. Add the cold water and stir until well mixed.
4. Taste and adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more sugar if necessary.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.

Storage

Store lemonade in a sealed pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Lemonade does not require reheating. Simply serve chilled.
