Herbed Veal Chops with Lemon Butter

Ingredients

4 veal chops (about 8 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 lemon, zested and juiced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. Rub the veal chops with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
3. Mix thyme and rosemary, and press the mixture onto both sides of the chops.
4. Grill veal chops for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
5. While the chops are grilling, prepare the lemon butter by mixing the softened butter with lemon zest, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
6. Remove the chops from the grill and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
7. Serve the chops topped with lemon butter and sprinkled with fresh parsley.

Storage

Store leftover veal chops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat chops in a preheated 300°F oven for 10-15 minutes, or until warmed through.
