Ingredients

4 slices of sourdough bread
2 tablespoons butter, softened
4 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
1 tablespoon fresh oregano leaves

Instructions

1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
3. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on the skillet.
4. Layer the cheddar and mozzarella cheese equally on the bread slices.
5. Sprinkle the fresh thyme and oregano leaves over the cheese.
6. Top with the remaining bread slices, butter side up.
7. Grill the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
8. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve immediately.

Storage
