Herbal Citrus Zing Drink

A refreshing and invigorating non-alcoholic beverage combining the zesty flavors of citrus with the soothing properties of herbal tea and the invigorating touch of ginger. Perfect for a mid-day energy boost or a hydrating treat.

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tbsp loose-leaf peppermint tea
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp raw honey
Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

1. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
2. Add the grated ginger and reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and add the peppermint tea. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
4. Strain the liquid into a pitcher and allow it to cool.
5. Add lemon juice, orange juice, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Stir until honey is dissolved.
6. Chill in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice.

Storage

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

No reheating necessary; serve chilled or over ice.
