Herb-Infused Chicken Gravy

Ingredients
2 cups chicken stock
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon heavy cream
Instructions
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Stir in the all-purpose flour, whisking continuously to form a roux, and cook for about 2 minutes until light brown.
3. Gradually whisk in the chicken stock, making sure to eliminate any lumps.
4. Add the thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the gravy thickens, about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes until the gravy is smooth and glossy.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
Storage
Store the gravy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat gently in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
