Ingredients
4 (8 oz) halibut steaks
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
2. In a medium bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, lemon zest, parsley, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the herb crust mixture.
3. Pat the halibut steaks dry with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish.
4. Evenly spread the herb crust mixture over the top of each halibut steak, pressing down gently to ensure it adheres.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the halibut is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
6. Serve with lemon wedges for an added burst of citrus flavor.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes or until warmed through.
