Hearty Sausage and Sauerkraut Delight

Ingredients
1 lb smoked sausage
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp caraway seeds
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the smoked sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the sauerkraut, chicken broth, caraway seeds, black pepper, and salt.
6. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until flavors meld together.
Storage
