Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1 lime, juiced
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground cumin
Instructions
1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
2. Add lime juice immediately to prevent browning and mash the avocados to desired consistency.
3. Stir in chopped cilantro, red onion, tomato, and minced garlic.
4. Season with salt, black pepper, and cumin, mixing thoroughly.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator with a plastic wrap pressed against the surface to prevent browning for up to 2 days.
Reheating
