Grilled Indoor Burgers

Enjoy a classic BBQ flavor with these Grilled Indoor Burgers, perfectly charred using a cast-iron grill pan and topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 burger buns
4 lettuce leaves
4 slices tomato
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

1. Preheat the cast-iron grill pan over medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
4. Brush the grill pan with olive oil.
5. Place the patties on the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
6. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover the pan to melt.
7. Toast the burger buns on the grill pan for about 1 minute.
8. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, topped with lettuce and tomato.

Storage

Store leftover patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat the patties in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
