Golden Potato Bake

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat, add onions, and sauté until translucent.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then remove from heat.
5. In a baking dish, spread an even layer of tater tots.
6. Pour beef mixture over tater tots, spreading evenly.
7. Spread cream of mushroom soup over the beef layer.
8. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
9. Bake for 45 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
10. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, reheat individual servings in the microwave on medium power for 2-3 minutes.
