Ingredients

2 lbs frozen hash browns
1 cup sour cream
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes
1/4 cup melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine hash browns, sour cream, condensed soup, cheddar cheese, melted butter, onions, salt, and pepper.
3. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed cornflakes with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
5. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy.
6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat individual portions in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or in the oven at 350°F until warmed through.
