Ingredients
Shrimp, peeled and deveined

All-purpose flour
1 cup
Cornmeal
1/2 cup
Baking powder
1 tsp
Salt
1 tsp
Black pepper
1/2 tsp
Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp
Eggs
2 large
Milk
1/2 cup
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
3. Dip each shrimp first into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and once more into the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
5. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
6. Remove shrimp from oil and drain on paper towels.
Storage
Store leftover fried shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place shrimp on a baking sheet and warm in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for about 5 minutes or until heated through.
