Golden Corn Casserole Delight

Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (15 oz) creamed corn
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine whole kernel corn, creamed corn, sour cream, and melted butter.
3. Stir in cornmeal, sugar, eggs, and cheddar cheese until well mixed.
4. Add in chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper, and mix thoroughly.
5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Storage

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat individual servings in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
