8 large eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Arrange the slices of French bread in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
