Garden Herb Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Ingredients
2 lbs boneless chicken breasts
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden, about 4-5 minutes per side.
5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
6. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
7. Evenly spread the breadcrumb mixture over the cheese.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a 350°F oven for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
