Creamy Spinach Baked Spaghetti

A delightful twist on the classic baked spaghetti, this creamy spinach version offers a rich and velvety texture with a hint of garlic, perfect for a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients

8 oz spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup spinach, chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
5. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
6. Stir in half of the mozzarella and all of the Parmesan cheese until melted.
7. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using.
8. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the creamy spinach sauce and mix well.
9. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
11. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Storage

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through.
