Creamy Mushroom Ground Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp flour
2 cups beef broth
1 cup sour cream
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
12 oz egg noodles, cooked
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until onion is translucent.
3. Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well to combine.
5. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to thicken.
6. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until heated through.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve the sauce over cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a skillet over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Add a splash of beef broth if the sauce is too thick.
