Classic White Chicken Chili
This hearty and comforting White Chicken Chili is a delicious combination of tender chicken, creamy beans, and mild green chilies, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb chicken breast, diced
2 cans (15 oz each) white beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (4 oz) mild green chilies
4 cups chicken broth
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
2. Add diced chicken breast to the pot, cooking until browned on all sides.
3. Stir in the white beans, green chilies, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 25-30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and flavors are combined.
5. Stir in the sour cream and fresh cilantro just before serving.
Storage
Allow the chili to cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheating
Reheat gently on the stove over medium heat, stirring occasionally until heated through. Add a splash of chicken broth if needed to loosen the consistency.
