Classic Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

24 large white mushrooms
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup melted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup finely chopped onion

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Clean the mushrooms and remove stems.
3. Chop the stems finely and set aside.
4. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
5. Add garlic and onion, sauté until soft.
6. Stir in chopped mushroom stems, cook until tender.
7. Mix in bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, thyme, and oregano.
8. Season with salt and pepper.
9. Fill mushroom caps with mixture.
10. Arrange on a baking sheet, drizzle with remaining melted butter.
11. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Preheat oven to 325°F and warm mushrooms for 10 minutes.
