Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the chicken broth, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried thyme.
3. Pour the seasoned broth over the chicken breasts.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
5. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
6. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix with the juices before serving.

Storage

Allow the chicken to cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Reheat the chicken in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warmed through, or microwave on medium power in 1-minute intervals.
